How soon should I order my Bridal Gown
It's never too early to order your wedding gown. We recommend ordering your bridal gown at least 6 months ahead of time. That gives you the luxury of having your gown altered to perfection well before your actual wedding date. Another benefit of ordering early is you have a longer period of time to pay on your gown. Keep in mind bridal gowns take any were from 4 to 6 weeks to be delivered, depending on the manufacturer. Our DaVinci gowns will be delivered in 1 (yes we have some dresses that are on a 1 week delivery)to 6 weeks depending on the dress and size you order. Ask us about our easy storage plan for paying for your dress.
Should I or should I not make an Appointment at the Bridal Shop??
Why and Why Not. It is all up to you and what you want. Appointments give a bride the exclusive attention that may be needed. Your Bridal Consultants will be there for you exclusively. But if you would like to come and browse without an appointment you can do that too. We at Barbara's House of Bridal and Formal Wear have open hours on Friday, and by appointments on other days. Any way you want, we have the options you deserve.
I found a dress I like in a magazine. Should I look for it?
Sure, but never be single minded about a pictured gown. Ask for 'similar' styles. Few brides buy 'that' magazine dress but find one they like better, so try others. Flatter your figure. Look within your budget. Watch time frames for ordering, buy from stock if you can. On this day you should be UNIQUE, distinct and proud of your choice. Let us at Barbara's House of Bridal and Formal Wear help you select the dress that is right for you. We give you the personal attention you deserve because we care about you.
